I received some very interesting emails regarding the recent debacle surrounding Lauren getting signed with Profile Model Management, a rinky-dink agency based in London. An entry covering this is in the works and should be up soon. Thank you to everyone who emailed me and I'm so sorry you're on the receiving end of some of Lauren's (admittedly hilarious) drama.

Felice Fawn Lies About Her Bank's Policies To Gain Sympathy, £££

The scam artist is back at it, only this time she's lying about her bank's policies in an attempt to gain sympathy and possibly extort (more) money from her followers.

She publicly discusses her finances in detail with one of her sycophants. (Who discusses this kind of personal business on Twitter, of all places?)

How would they not have noticed if it was going on for 10 months? Doesn't their institution offer online statements? Also, how would she not know she was short such a large amount each month if she was making frivolous purchases at the same time? Surely she knew she had somemoney, so how would she or Rich not notice these alleged charges each month? She even said "We had no idea where our money was going" which implies that she did know about the charges. However, when any institution charges an overdraft fee, it is clearly stated as such on the account. Something doesn't add up...

Naturally, her solution is to shirk responsibility. Just take the money and run, like a criminal. And post the details on Twitter. SMART! She even mentioned contesting her bank in court... which is just... hilarious. Lauren is not exactly a stranger to being on the wrong side of the law.

If Lauren was that concerned with the legalities of the situation, one would think that she'd be calling her bank instead of whining about it on Twitter to anyone who will listen to and agree with her. Oh, and not cussing out her institution. Classy.

She also used this ploy for sympathy as an excuse to talk about food--or lack thereof, rather, as this also seems like another way for her to publicly talk about her eating disorder:

Perhaps Lauren should start coordinating her lies with Rich's tweets. as he posted on the same day about buying and making food. Oops! Refusing to eat food is not the same thing as not actually having any, Lauren!

Moving on...

Even though Lauren initially claimed that the bank took £1K, she soon posted that she settled for a paltry £150 refund. Which doesn't make much sense, especially considering that she wasjust taunting her bank to fight her in court. Neither does this:

Interesting. What money? I thought you were complaining that the bank took it all and put you in the red?

Like I said... not adding up.

Apparently, she doesn't think that anyone else on the internet knows how to use Google.

And here is a detailed explanation of Santander's overdraft policies, which prove that no matter what type of account one has, there is no possible way that one would be charged £1K in overdraft charges over a period of 10 months.

Lauren's latest extortion attempt was posted to efagz. Noteworthy comments debunking her ridiculous claims:

Felice Fawn Does Cocaine Live on Webcam

Felice Fawn (Lauren Cook) did cocaine live on webcam on the night/morning of December 23rd-24th, 2011. It was a white Christmas for this anti-theist, indeed, and she made sure to tell as many people as possible (as though doing cocaine is anything to brag about).

She boasted about it on Twitter:

And on her Facebook, complete with a photo of herself alongside the fellow who allegedly gave her the blow:

Here are the Stickam screencaps that corroborate the fact that it was, indeed coke that she was snorting. To spare you from the brain-numbing inanity that is the Stickam chatroom, I have underlined the relevant comments. (You're welcome.)

She also thrashed her emaciated limbs around in a frantic, stereotypically coked-out dance while the three fellows accompanying her talked amongst themselves and more or less ignored her.

And then they did even more.

She got so amped up that she didn't seem to realize (or care) that her breast nearly fell out of her top.

And she even graced everyone with the compelling view of her filthy apartment floor. Oh, and her nether regions. But, that's nothing new.

Her younger sister, Nicola (seen at the bottom of this next screencap) saw her Facebook post and commented on it. Apparently, Lauren used to do cocaine in her teen years, with less than desirable results. (Not that doing cocaine ever yields positive results, by nature... but still, a telling comment.)

Her little sister seeing her boasting about doing the drug is just one reason that comes to mind when considering why posting about cocaine use all over social networking sites might be a bad idea. That should have made for an awkward Christmas with the family...

Someone commented on her heart to her boyfriend, Rich, who was present and also indulging.

It's interesting to note that last sentence: "I can assure you she won't be doing it again any time soon though." Apparently, they had a party at their flat on December 29th, just a few days after Lauren went on Stickam to broadcast their drug use, and cocaine was indeed present at this party. Just another example of how this couple lies about anything and everything in order to maintain the façade that everything is just fine in their debauched, codependent world:

Moving on...

Lauren felt the need to share exactly what she had been up to the morning after, when she ditched plans she had previously made with someone:

She couldn't just say "I'm not feeling well, let's reschedule." She had to be overly specific and boastfully share the dirty, illicit details. As though it's a point of pride, it seems.

Her Stickam was (obviously) banned for Terms of Service violation, as she had over 400 viewers at one point.

And here is her casually Tweeted reply in regard to getting banned for doing illegal drugs on Stickam.

"Hahahaha" indeed. How flippant. Doing cocaine = hilarious, according to Lauren.

She posted the following 2 .gif images on her Twitter, which really illustrate just how little she seems to care about the fact that she (publicly) did cocaine or about the repercussions that follow heavy drug use:

Despite the fact that she has a history of drug use, she seems to be treating all of this as one big joke. There's nothing cool, glamorous, or funny about any of this. However, what is funny is how this is coming from the girl who claimed to want a "more professional image" associated with her blog. True, she did not advertise her cocaine use on her actual blog (which hasn't been updated in some time), just her Twitter and Facebook, which are still linked to her name, of course. How can she claim to want a more professional image, then turn around and tell everyone that she's doing cocaine on Stickam? Is her need for attention that strong? Or has she finally given up on trying to be something she's not (responsible, professional, mature, kind) and is publicly embracing her real self? It's hard to say. One thing we can ascertain, however, is that she is in no place to be offering recovery support to anyone, for any reason.

As a final note to the cocaine debacle, this writer would just like to point out that Lauren still does have a few lingering followers hearkening from her ("secret") thinspo community days, and despite the evidence that has been circulating the internet for months now, many are still blindly loyal to her. (I would imagine because she has managed to stay thin, as she is still very much an active anorexic.) If I could ever dream up the worst possible role model for young girls suffering with eating disorders and low self-esteem, it is Felice Fawn/Lauren Cook, the narcissistic girl who keeps trying to run away from herself in the most self-destructive ways possible, and wants us all to watch her do it.

Deumos, Part IV: Where There's Smoke, There's Fire

One person? Really, Lauren?

Before we examine that claim as well as the evidence outlined in this post, I just want to address something. I have been buying and selling items over the internet for many years. I started when I was quite young and have encountered all manner of businesses via the internet, as well as all manner of people doing business, good and bad, shady and honest. I have purchased items that never made it to me (very rarely, only about 5 instances I can recall in roughly 12 years of being in the online marketplace) and I have had to issue a refund when an item I shipped never made it to a country with much more inscrutable customs regulations (Germany, one incident). It's called taking responsibility and being professional. Sometimes the mail really does get lost, it happens, and as a seller, you must be prepared to financially deal with that outcome. But it is rare, even if one has a higher volume of outgoing packages.

One thing I have never encountered, though, in all of the time I have done business over the internet is someone who lied about buying something. Not someone who purchased an item and then claimed it never arrived--that does happen occasionally, and it's called fraud. I'm talking about what Felice/Lauren claimed is happening in the above quote, that there are people actually lying about purchasing Deumos items from her in the first place, just to further cause drama for her. I have never seen this happen. Never. And I think there's a pretty valid reason for that. Why would a rational person lie about something that they know they cannot prove? What would a person have to gain from just SAYING they purchased something from someone and that it never arrived? It's not like, in that case, there is any proof of the transaction ever occurring and therefore there is any solid ground for a refund. So in that scenario, the "customer" knows they don't have a leg to stand on and the seller knows that, too. It's a very improbable, irrational and nonsensical claim. Which is why it almost never happens. People do scam each other over the internet. People do lie. But this particular claim of Lauren's--that people are lying about ever having purchased Deumos items from her just to fuel drama--just isn't happening. I present to you the evidence.

Case #1: Tӓhti Syrjala

Read about Tӓhti's case in detail in Part I, here. For the purposes of keeping this extensively-covered case short in order to proceed to the lesser-known individuals who were also scammed by Lauren Cook, here is the Paypal screenshot of Tӓhti's payment, as well as the screenshot of her review, which is still up and can be viewed here.

Here is a segment of an email she wrote in response to Nicola G., who is Case #3 in the Deumos scam. This screencap shows what Tӓhti had to go through to even receive her refund.

To date, Tӓhti is the one and only person to have received a full refund after being scammed by Lauren. Read on and decide for yourself why Lauren chose to only refund Tӓhti and none of the other people she scammed.

Case #1 status: refunded, but delayed and after much internet drama

Case #2: Chelsea/serenrae

Chelsea (serenrae.net) was the second person to come forward about being scammed by Lauren. The post she made with her original Paypal screencap can be found here.

Tӓhti reblogged Chelsea (serenrae/leithia) and added:

But ultimately...

Chelsea never received her bra or her money back, and had unfortunately waited beyond Paypal's 45-day mark to open a transaction dispute. Lauren completely ignored her requests to know where her item was and kept her money. In a word: scammed.

Case #2 status: unresolved

Case #3: Nicola G./nikkinoir

Nicola G. (nikkinoir on Tumblr) purchased a pair of customized heels from Lauren on April 17th, 2011. Here is the description of what happened as she wrote in an email to me:

Nicola also contacted Tahti and Chelsea regarding the scam, since she, too, had been banned from commenting in Lauren's blog and received no reply to her email inquiries.

And this is the only email correspondence she received back from Lauren after politely inquiring about the status of her package. Notice how Lauren refers to her by her Tumblr nickname, yet claims she "had to search Google and old logs" for her email address (when Nicola had emailed her directly, as seen below, and Lauren also had the Paypal email address). It doesn't make much sense. Actually, the message itself doesn't make much sense. Observe:

So, instead if showing concern about her missing package, Lauren immediately had to refute the public comment Nicola made on Lauren's blog that said she scammed "hundreds" of girls. This is just my opinion, but I think maybe Lauren had a little too much to drink before deleting Nicola's comment and writing that email, as I have researched this situation extensively and have yet to see anyone say that. (For the purposes of technicality, it is true that Lauren scammed hundreds of DOLLARS out of many people, though.) Also, in the very first screencap posted at the beginning of this entry, Lauren initially claimed that one person's package was "lost" in the UK post. Suddenly, one has become three. An old adage comes to mind: If it doesn't make sense, then it's probably not true.

Nicola never received her shoes, a refund, or even an apology for being scammed and ignored.

Case #3 status: unresolved

Case #4: Ellie/neverlandbegins

Remember this series of Stickam screencaps from Part III? Ellie (neverlandbegins on Tumblr/pearsani on Stickam) went to Lauren's live Stickam stream during the Deumos drama to ask about her missing jumper. Lauren pretended her Firefox browser froze, stared at the screen and played with her makeup while ignoring Ellie's inquiries. Read Part III to see why the frozen Firefox excuse is yet another one of Lauren's lies to shirk responsibility and act like she had no idea one of her scammed customers was trying to contact her after being banned from her blog and emails ignored:

And Lauren posted this shrieking comment in response to that entry, which is still visible:

Ellie posted a message she received from another scammed customer, terrortwin (see case #7). Lauren then sent Ellie a message (which Ellie posted directly after terrortwin's message) to bully Ellie with her false claims over giving her a tracking number, calling her a liar, and actually threatening her. It's pretty unbelievable.

Does this sound like someone who is caring, honest, genuine, and compassionate, as "Felice's" disciples insist her to be? Or does it sound more like the actions of a guilty, defensive, painfully insecure, bullying scammer who was beginning to realize that she had dug her own grave? How can someone treat her customers this way? These are her (scammed) customers and followers, who never once throughout this ordeal attacked her character, but simply wanted to know where their packages were and if she had shipped them at all. Unreal.

Case #5: Wilhelmina/fabulousmimi

The following screen capture is the first post I was able to locate regarding Deumos on Wilhelmina's Tumblr (fabulousmimi.tumblr.com). It seems that she did contact Lauren in late August of 2011 and was assured that her package was "lost" in the UK post and that the issue was being resolved. Remember, Lauren said the same thing to Tӓhti at first...

The resolution never came, and Wilhelmina was ultimately blocked from Lauren's blog for asking about her missing package, as well as the following comment deleted:

She then contacted Chelsea (serenrae/leithia) about it because she could no longer contact Lauren.

The following is from Wilhelmina's Tumblr, with screencaps arranged chronologically.

Ignored and blocked for inquiring about her missing package. She never got a refund or her shoes, either.

Case #5 status: unresolved

Case #6: daveedbear

Like anything else associated with the Deumos scam, the following comment was deleted from Lauren's blog. Apparently daveedbear is a fellow she was acquainted with via Stickam and had known for years. He originally bought a gift from Lauren for a friend, who was a fan of hers. According to what is written in the next screencap taken from his Tumblr, he had been friendly with Lauren for several years and she had always replied to his messages... that is, until he gave her his money. She kept that, and he was blocked and ignored, as though nothing had ever happened.

I wonder if it was really worth it to Lauren to burn all of these bridges and lose friendships... just for some petty cash.

Case #6 status: refunded by Paypal (not by Lauren)

Case #7: terrortwin

Tumblr user terrortwin (blog now password-protected) sent the above scammed customer, Ellie, a message regarding her own Deumos experience.

Terrortwin posted her own entry on her Tumblr about being scammed by Lauren. Unfortunately, it is no longer visible. The original post was reblogged here and can be viewed below.

After Lauren sent Ellie and terrortwin her histrionic, threatening message, she then partially refunded terrortwin, clearly in a hasty attempt to get her to keep quiet about being scammed. Notice how completely Lauren changed her previously enraged tune when terrortwin gushed over receiving an incomplete refund and stated she would be removing her original statements about Lauren. It really makes me wonder what Lauren must have said to her in private...

That's what we call bribery, folks. Paying someone hush money to keep quiet and retract their statements is bribery. Only the guilty would bribe someone to cover up their wrongdoings. Someone who is innocent would have no reason to threaten and then pay a person to keep quiet.

Case #7 status: partially refunded (bribed)

Case #8: hannahcharlotte

This name may look familiar to you. If you have ever seen Lauren on webcam, this person, hannahcharlotte, pops in occasionally and posts the generic "you look beautiful/love you felice" fangirl comments within the chat, and they seem to get along fine, of course. Anyone who heaps superficial praise upon Lauren is A-OK, but is still not worthy of receiving their Deumos merchandise, evidently.

But she'll answer this same girl's questions regarding bullying. She'll talk to you and call you generic English pet names if she can make herself look like an innocent victim of "rumors", but not if you're wondering about where your paid-for merchandise is.

Also, I recall seeing a screencap from Lauren's Stickam awhile back where hannahcharlotte actually asked Lauren if she had received a gift package that she had sent to her. This was before the Deumos scam. I will have to go through the archives and see if I can locate it, but anyone else who witnessed that particular live session will reiterate this. Which is appalling, in my opinion. This girl is clearly a fan of Lauren's, so much to the point of sending her a gift package, only to have Lauren turn around and steal from her when she wanted to buy something from her Deumos shop. Who steals from their own fans? How can someone be so heartless? Hannahcharlotte still shows up in Lauren's Stickam shows frequently, and they chat like nothing ever happened. As far as I know, the girl was not refunded. It appears that this is a case in which hannahcharlotte idolizes Lauren so much, she is willing to let it go or is afraid of the repercussions if she goes public with the information. It's really sad. If anyone has any information about this at all, please contact me at the email address listed in the sidebar. Hannahcharlotte is especially encouraged to contact me, as I have attempted to contact her myself to no avail.

Case #8 status: unresolved

Case #9: Alan P./alzeepark

Lauren decided to sell her Canon camera body shortly after the Deumos scam came to light (yeah, really) in order to come up with "money for a new apartment" (see end of this entry). She initially advertised the sale on Tumblr, but since news of the scam was still fresh, incredibly, no one took the bait. She then opted to list it on eBay:

A fellow also within the UK (alzeepark) did purchase the camera from her. However, it appears that she thought she could just collect the money and not ship it out, as the buyer was forced to contact her on Twitter (of all places) two weeks later to inquire about the expensive camera body he was waiting to receive:

She then finally shipped it out (or maybe Rich did, since she never actually leaves her apartment). Either way, she sat on the large sum of money she received from the sale and didn't contact the (local) buyer for 2 weeks afterward. In this case, it's a good thing that eBay has a strict buyer protection policy, or this poor person most likely would have been ripped off, too.

The following lukewarm feedback was left for Lauren.

He got lucky in this case, although it is inexcusable and quite telling that Lauren only took action after Dan addressed his concerns to Twitter.

Case #9 status: item received, but weeks later and only after Twitter inquiry

Conclusion

So, in all, that is 8 cases that I have been able to uncover so far as having been scammed by Lauren Cook. Out of all of these cases:

Only one was actually refunded by Lauren (Tӓhti)

Only one managed to open a Paypal claim in time to get refunded via Paypal (daveedbear)

One outside of the Deumos fraud actually received his eBay item, but after a considerable wait and only because he took it to Twitter (and probably also because Lauren didn't want to jeopardize her ability to buy things on eBay in the future) (alzeepark)

And one was partially refunded/bribed to keep her mouth shut and retract her statements that she was scammed (terrortwin).

In all, only one person actually received a full refund from Lauren as a result of the Deumos fraud, and that's Tӓhti. And I think we all know why Tӓhti is the only person who Lauren personally recompensed. It's because she is well-known on the internet. That's all Lauren cares about throughout this--her reputation. She fully refunded Tӓhti in the hopes that it would clear her name. To hell with everyone else, apparently. That leaves 6 other people (that we know of so far, there very well could be more) who are still out their money and received nothing at all from Lauren, not even so much as an apology.

On September 13th, 2011, Lauren closed her ask box on Tumblr. Apparently she didn't like receiving so many messages about her recent criminal activity, so she decided to just block it out, as per her usual modus operandi:

Very soon after closing her ask box, she actually decided to open up another sale page. (Really, Lauren? REALLY?) She spun some tale about needing money for a new apartment, as she and Rich were supposedly getting evicted (!), but unfortunately for her, she couldn't even keep that lie straight. Observe the difference in dates that SHE posted:

And here's a view of the notes from someone's dash on the above entry with comment goodness. Hmmmm. Naturally, she deleted that entry and forged boldly on with her new sale effort, which is actually still up but seems to have been abandoned:

Fortunately, it doesn't appear that anyone purchased from this particular sale.

On September 14th, the day after she closed her ask box on her blog and opened her new sale page, she posted the following entry to let everyone know how she really felt about everything she had done up to that point.

Indeed. Scamming your own fans and acting as though nothing ever happened while blocking and ignoring them is totally the right thing to do. It is compelling that she speaks about "acquaintances" treating people badly and relying on selfishness to survive when that is the very essence of what she did with her Deumos fraud. Could someone be any more lacking in self-awareness? Could someone be any less like the saintly, caring image she tries so hard to portray? These are rhetorical questions. All of the evidence outlined in this post speaks for itself.

Deumos, Part III: The Devil Made Me Do It

On September 3rd, 2011, the day after Lauren decided the best way to handle the uproar surrounding her Deumos scam was to sit drinking on Stickam for half a day and ignoring/blocking anyone who asked about it, she posted this snooty, passive-aggressive message on her blog:

The only information that "seems to be purposefully withheld" is Lauren's explanation of why she decided to scam so many people who looked up to her. It's also interesting to note that there are inconsistencies within this claim, particularly the £210 amount. Let's have a look at how Lauren can't even keep that part of her story straight (screencap taken from efagz):

Interesting. The thing is, Lauren lost her right to privacy when she decided to open up an online storefront and accept payments from customers. Money changed hands. It's no longer a personal matter when other peoples' money is involved. Once a crime is committed and other people come forth as victims, the right to privacy disappears in that situation as well. Such an excuse would never hold up in a court of law, and, frankly, sounds like a poor excuse to justify stealing from so many innocent people. Which is exactly what she did.

Lauren then decided to--you guessed it!--go back on Stickam, scowl at her screen and ignore any inquiries about the Deumos scam. Because that clearly worked so well for her the day before, right? And more unfortunate people who had been scammed by her tried to contact her via the Stickam chat, only to once again be ignored and/or banned by her obsessives:

Shortly after this poor person (pearsani) entered the chat asking about their missing jumper, even changing their font colors in the hopes that Lauren would see their inquiries, Lauren said her Firefox browser was frozen. How convenient.

As you can see, Andy (Gnarcolepsy) reiterated Lauren's claim that her Firefox was "frozen" and therefore she couldn't read the chat. However, in the above screenshots, one can clearly see Lauren moving about on the screen fixing her makeup. When one is broadcasting a live stream on Stickam and the internet browser freezes, the live stream itself freezes as well. Anyone can test this theory out for themselves. When the browser is frozen, one cannot be so clearly captured moving about with no hitching up or pixellation, as Lauren is here. Yet another lie Lauren has spun to avoid taking responsibility for her crimes. Even though she could not accept the blame for this situation she created, she still needed validation via webcam on the internet. To call it pathetic isn't even really the right word and does a disservice to the word itself. I think of it more as incredibly shameful and straight-up disgusting than anything else, really.

While drinking on Stickam (again, or still, may I remind you), Lauren then decided to try to pin the blame on somebody else, something she does with alarming frequency. She claimed that Rich (who was out of the apartment at that time) "wouldn't let" her issue refunds, and that he was angry with her. She tried to make it sound like he controlled her finances (because it is his name on the Paypal account she uses) and that she was, once again, the victim in this situation that she created. She still did not address why she never sent out any Deumos packages in the first place, however. Lauren was still on Stickam when Rich came back home, and sometime after that she got sloppy drunk and blathered to Rich and her one and only real-life friend (whom she met on Furcadia and just so happens to take the majority of her "self-portraits") Merry that Tӓhti had allegedly sent her an apology on Tumblr and that she no longer had it because she hadn't published it. (For non-Tumblr users, if you get a message and reply to it without publishing it, it disappears. Weird, I know.) She then went on a rant about how she wished so much that she had published it, and that if Tӓhti wasn't nice in her 2nd review, Lauren was "gonna show 'em everything" (her defrauded customers? the internet?) and that Tӓhti was begging her for forgiveness for writing her original review. She kept slurring "At the end of the day, she has her shoes AND her money," (which doesn't even make sense, to be honest) and painted a picture of being "wronged" by her most well-known customer... who she scammed. This writer as well as hundreds of others witnessed this sickening, spineless display, and to date, I personally have never seen such flagrant unprofessionalism and cowardice. I have never seen a "businesswoman" handle herself in such a poor, childish and just plain embarrassing manner.

Tӓhti actually posted to efagz just to refute this drunken nonsense and add her side:

She also specified and posted a screenshot from her email that she had only been in contact with Rich, not Lauren, throughout this ordeal, and that that was because Lauren had blocked her from being able to make contact. Nice!

Right around the time that Lauren went on her drunken, confusing tirade against Tӓhti, the post containing Tӓhti's original review disappeared. Hmmmm. Strange, no? Tӓhti claimed she was receiving too many hate messages over it and marked the entry private, which makes it invisible to anyone but her. Her explanation:

The thing is, when Tӓhti began posting in the efagz community on Livejournal, no one was "trashing" her. In fact, the vast majority of the community was quite supportive of her. The only reason anyone said she was foolish was because the review disappeared, and it seemed, at the time, to not to be a well-thought-out decision on Tӓhti's part to essentially take back her word (and therefore credibility) on being scammed by Lauren. (Although, it can be speculated that Tӓhti possibly marked the review as private to ensure that she would actually get her refund in the meantime.) Understandably, members of efagz as well as users on Tumblr were confused and dismayed by the disappearance of the original review. From an outsider's perspective, it seemed like Tӓhti did it just to appease Lauren. Only Tӓhti knows the reasoning behind her decision to mark it as private, although it is understandable that she would possibly mark the review private just to ease her own mind over receiving an unstoppable flood of emails about a situation still in progress. However, it seems that the support Tӓhti received from efagz and Tumblr convinced her not to completely retract her review.

On September 7th or 8th, these posts appeared on Tӓhti's and Lauren's blogs, respectively:

Tӓhti stated that she was finally refunded on September 8th.

And here is Lauren's version of events... notice how wildly positive she tried to spin things, as well as the comment at the bottom inquiring about the 7+ other people who she ripped off and did not recompense:

Apparently, Lauren will only attempt to correct her wrongdoings to you if you are famous on the internet. Anyone else is SOL. She only cares about her reputation and not her fans (who bought items from her) as she tries to portray. She is not above bribing others or fabricating information regarding others who are well-known on the internet to cover up her crimes and pretend like nothing ever happened. It is clear that Lauren never had any intention of sending Tӓhti her shoes or refund, and only did so grudgingly after Tӓhti was forced to publicly address the situation and Lauren created a massive, unnecessary internet shitstorm over it. The situation with Tӓhti really showed Lauren's true colors--that she is a spineless, cowardly, dishonest crook, a thief with apparently no remorse and no conscience.

The fact is, no one ever received their packages from Lauren/Deumos. No one. Since her "fans" are so quick to reblog anything she posts and seem to swoon over her replying to them on Tumblr, doesn't it follow that those who bought things from her and received them would be bragging all about that, too? And yet... total silence as far as anyone receiving their Deumos merchandise. She made hundreds of dollars and never shipped one single package. It seems also that she never had any intention of following through with her orders. It is theorized that she received her Deumos samples, took her first few orders while keeping the samples for herself, realized that it would be expensive to actually fulfill these orders (something she really should have looked into BEFORE opening an online storefront), and got carried away with her newfound cash, publicly documenting her online shopping sprees and quickly spending it all on clothes and alcohol. Initially, she probably figured that she could ignore a few "unknown" people emailing about their items, since she could simply block them from commenting on any of the websites on which she has a profile--after all, who would believe a few random people calling her a scammer when everyone else loves her so much? What she didn't seem to consider, though, is that not everyone who gets scammed will turn the other cheek and let her get away with it just because she's considered conventionally pretty and popular. There are also those who, despite not being well known on the internet, really aren't afraid of Felice Fawn's personal army of misguided teenagers.

Deumos, Part II: It's All Fun & Games Until Someone Commits A Crime

As the word began to spread around Tumblr through countless reblogs via Tӓhti's review, Lauren continued to ignore and block anyone who came to her inquiring about their items or the situation. The following screenshot was actually posted by Tӓhti on her Formspring, showing that Tӓhti herself had been blocked from commenting on Lauren's blog. Notice the comments at the bottom from others who were scammed as well.

It is also important to note that, in the screenshot Tӓhti posted in her above response it can be seen that Lauren was deleting comments on her blog from her scammed Deumos customers. The situation was posted in efagz and became one of the most commented efagz posts to date with over 1,500 comments, with not one single Felice stan coming to her defense. The situation hereafter became affectionately known on the internet as FeliceGate 2011. Throughout this two-day shitstorm, Lauren stubbornly refused to issue any statements (or, more importantly, any refunds) and instead decided to obsessively stalk her tags on Tumblr and attack or tattle to Tumblr staff anyone who questioned what she was doing. As the internet and her blog inevitably began to blow up, she decided that the best, most professional solution would be to put on one of her Deumos shirts (yes, really) and sit on Stickam for nearly 8 hours straight while throwing back bottle after bottle of booze, chain-smoking endlessly, and ignoring/blocking anyone who came into her chat to ask about their items/the situation and why she wouldn't respond.

Notice how Lauren didn't even have to do anything but sit there and get obliterated... her own personal e-creeper, Andy (gnarcolepsy) took care of nearly all of the banning and excuses for her. Yet even more proof that Lauren doesn't do anything for herself and lives a truly coddled, dependent existence. But I digress...

Even when she has committed a crime and stolen from countless people with the evidence right in front of them, her "fans" seem afraid to approach her, like they can hardly believe she has the capacity to do wrong. That, and being an irritable, defensive loose cannon whenever anyone disagrees with her certainly doesn't aid in making her approachable. Observe more of Lauren's refusal to respond or take responsibility for her crimes, and letting Andy "clean up" her mess for her:

As you can see from all of the above screenshots, several different people came in asking about the situation and she ignored every single one of them while staring into her webcam and usually only responding if someone in the Stickam chat told her she was pretty. It is also worth noting that not ONE of these people attacked her personally. They just wanted to know what was going on. But, in Lauren's world, apparently it is better to pretend that consequences for one's illegal actions don't exist and let the sycophants she surrounds herself with on Stickam do her damage control.

In summary, for 8 hours she sat and stared at the internet while consuming nothing but alcohol and cigarettes, ignoring the people she scammed and any questions about Deumos at all. I don't know about you, my dear reader, but that's probably one of the least admirable ways to conduct business that I've ever seen. Lauren Cook's actions are the actions of a straight-up, unrepentant thief, a hollow shell of a person with no morals, one who ultimately cares about herself above all else and to the detriment of others. It's also interesting (and humorous) to note that it was from this situation that the moniker "Lauren Crook" came into existence and has more or less cemented itself into efag infamy. (Honestly, it seems to this writer that trying to run away from her past by changing her name has really done her more harm than good.)

She decided that this would be the best message to post on her blog to all of her scammed customers:

Oh, she did.

How could someone who tries so hard to have such an exalted humanitarian image, always quick to dole out "advice" to impressionable teens and preaching at every opportunity, turn around and treat her fellow humans so terribly? Not only her fellow humans, but her own followers/"fans"? And to be so appallingly brazen about having such moral disregard to post herself flipping off her audience as her only testament to it all... truly a low-class display. If Lauren was even half as good and virtuous of a person as she makes herself out to be, one would think that she'd have nothing to hide and would at the very least explain herself to the multitudes questioning her, right?

... Nope, not quite.

Deumos, Part I: Felice Fawn's Internet Get-Rich-Quick Scheme

In late spring/summer of 2011, Felice Fawn (hereafter referred to by her real name, Lauren Cook) opened a storefront on her website, claiming she was starting her own "clothing line". The store was called Deumos (now Defunct). She advertised it on Tumblr, the website on which she is a notorious presence, that she would be selling Satanic-inspired clothing, mostly girls' T-shirts and hoodies/jumpers with a simple baphomet, upside-down cross, or pentagram screenprinted on them. (She also claimed these symbols to be her "original designs".) She also intended to sell a pair customized PVC shoes and a spiked bra. Sometime that spring, Lauren posted that she received some "samples" in the mail and posted pictures of herself modeling them for her followers to salivate over and hopefully purchase:

Several of her followers, including fellow well-known blogger Tӓhti Syrjala, actually did purchase some items from her store. It seemed that, at the time, business was booming for Deumos. If Lauren was the entrepreneurial type, she would have seen this as an opportunity to demonstrate to her fanbase that she's a legitimate businesswoman and could have turned this tiny storefront into a serious moneymaker. But, unfortunately, that isn't the case.

All was silent until September, when Tӓhti finally had had enough of waiting, excuses and false promises from Rich (FF's boyfriend and partner in the scam). Rich had been keeping in touch with Tӓhti every few weeks throughout the month of August to keep her quiet, reassuring her that her refund was "on its way" while Lauren blocked and completely avoided Tӓhti while pretending everything was hunky dory to her followers. Tӓhti was given the date of September 1st as the day she would receive her refund via Rich. September 1st came and went, and no refund was issued to Tӓhti. In the meantime, Lauren thought it wise to broadcast to the internet that she was on a shopping spree with her newfound cash:

September 2nd, 2011 is when shit really hit the fan. Over three months after she originally purchased the shoes from Lauren, Tӓhti posted of her experience with Lauren/Deumos on her blog, which attracted some attention, as she was the first person to publicly state that she had been ripped off by Lauren:

Three months passed since the original transaction. It is surprising to note that Lauren did not seem willing to fulfill her end of the transaction with her most well-known customer. Not that it is ever OK to steal from anyone, no matter who they are, but since she seems to only care about her public image and not about actual ethics or how she conducts herself both in professional and interpersonal settings, one would think that an impending review of her business dealings would at least prompt her to come through on that transaction. But then, Lauren isn't exactly the responsible, logical, or even considerate type. At any rate, Tӓhti did post her review:

Professionally written, clear and concise, with nothing but the facts on what happened. Word quickly spread around Tumblr and to other websites, perhaps most notably to efagz. It is safe to say that Lauren definitely read the review, as Tӓhti even let her know:

"I saw." No word on whether she or any of the other scammed customers would get a resolution, or even an acknowledgment that they had been wronged at all. Hmmmmmm.

Shortly after, someone asked Tӓhti on her Formspring why she had yet to be refunded:

In an attempt to get the word out on Lauren's failure to fulfill her paid Deumos orders, an efagz member created a Tumblr blog detailing Lauren's Deumos scam to spread the word, warn others and perhaps encourage others who had been scammed to speak up without fear of retaliation. This blog very quickly was deleted by Tumblr staff, more than likely at the frantic request of Lauren.

Right while this was all happening, Lauren posted this remark on her blog, verifying that she had a hand in the censorship of anything negative being said about her:

And then these comments immediately appeared within that post:

The post was very quickly deleted, like most of Lauren's posts. But the attempts at censorship and ignoring anyone who had anything to say that was not complimentary to her appearance was not about to stop those who had had their money stolen by Lauren. In fact, the drama was really just beginning.

Felice Fawn is an Alcoholic in Denial

She won't admit to it, of course. But she has shown during her many live Stickam sessions that she drinks 24/7. Usually wine, no-name Bailey's liquer or vodka, often all at once. There is never a time where she's live on webcam (which is fairly often, usually several times a week) where sheisn't drinking. She has stated that her much-espoused mother introduced her to alcohol when she was 14, and since then, it seems to have become her primary coping mechanism. Lauren seems to be stuck in a pattern of drinking herself into a stupor, spending a day sick and recovering while griping about it on Tumblr without ever seeming to realize why (alcoholism + anorexia = terrible health), and then always falls back into the cycle of alcoholism. Below is a screenshot taken from one of her live sessions in which she (drunkenly) decided to show everyone what a normal days' alcohol consumption looks like:

That's right, folks. 4 bottles of wine in one day. If that's not alcoholism, then, dear readers, I'm not sure what is.

Lauren claims that she "used to" be an alcoholic, and that she's more or less grown out of it (a fallacy in itself--an alcoholic does not "grow out of" alcoholism) and now claims that she "only drinks a few times a week". Anyone who has ever seen her live on webcam knows that is a complete load of shit. Not only does she not have an understanding about this disease, but the uneducated and arrogant way she defends herself against others' concerns for her is incredibly harmful to her young followers who might have addiction issues of their own. It's one thing to be in deep denial about your illness, which Lauren clearly is, but it's quite another to publicly state that you're "recovered" (while still drinking). This is a perfect example of how Lauren's lies are extremely negligent and have the capacity to negatively influence others.

Lauren's RECOVERED, everyone! And not snarkily projecting at all! Also, it is interesting to note that apparently, according to these beacons of intellignce, in the UK they've figured out the cure for alcoholism. Teens can learn to "use it as a daily drink" instead! That is totally NOT the same thing as being an active alcoholic! I don't know how she manages to even find people so ignorant as to corroborate her moronic, self-serving views. What if the person who messaged her is an alcoholic as well? How compassionate of Lauren.

Completely different from what, exactly? From being an alcoholic? I'm not so sure about that, Lauren...

She "has no intentions of going back" to drinking the moment she wakes up. Interesting. Just recently (on 12-13-11), Lauren was on Stickam, drinking 3 different kinds of alcohol at 11AM. But she is "certainly not alcohol dependent."
